Cumbia on Klompen???
- Many Dutch people might not know what "Cumbia" is. And many Colombian people don't have a clue what "Klompen" means. Here finally the explaination!
- For all the Dutch: Cumbia is a type of Latin-American dance music of Colombian origin, similar to salsa and using guitars, accordions, bass guitar, and percussion. For this dance, the man wear a hat as shown below.
- For all the Colombians: "Klompen" (clog in English) is a typical Dutch foot wear. It's a type of shoe or sandal made predominantly out of wood. Nowadays, klompen (like the pair you see below) is just worn by farmers.
